Mali Times is a small newsroom-style publication focused on the events that shape daily life. Our goal is simple: publish fast, readable updates without sacrificing accuracy.
We built the site around a newsroom mindset — verify first, write clearly, and add context so readers can understand what happened, not just react to a headline. When details change, we update the story and keep the wording honest about what is confirmed and what is still developing.
What we cover
We report on major events worldwide, with a consistent focus on stories that have real public relevance. Our coverage includes politics, business, technology, public safety, and culture — with an emphasis on developments that explain broader trends, not just momentary noise. We aim for clear framing, restrained language, and headlines that match the facts inside the article.
How we work
We rely on primary sources when possible, including official statements, documents, direct announcements, and on-the-record information. For breaking stories, we cross-check key claims across reputable outlets and avoid presenting speculation as fact. If we cannot confirm a detail, we either leave it out or label it clearly as unconfirmed.
We also publish evergreen explainers when a topic needs background to make sense. When a story evolves, we update it. When we make a mistake, we correct it. Our goal is not perfection — it’s a transparent process that keeps the reader’s trust.
Editorial team
